Id
The number under which the trigger is stored internally. This field is view-only and empty when you create a new trigger.
Name
The name of the trigger.
Comment
The comment field is available for free use by the integrator/system administrator. It serves solely to document the configuration. Information can be entered here, e.g. the purpose of the element, notes on the connected hardware, room/floor and other special features. The content of this field has no meaning for X2.
Dead time
A period of time during which renewed triggering of this trigger is suppressed after it has been triggered. The dead time allows you to suppress multiple triggering if the triggering event occurs again within this time.
One example is triggering an action when a doorbell is pressed, where you do not want the action to occur multiple times if the visitor rings several times. In this example, the dead time determines the minimum time that must pass after the first ring before the system responds to the doorbell again.
Limit value direct
In this field, you can directly specify the value to compare against. Leave the field empty if you do not want to compare against a constant value.
Limit value channel
Here you can select a channel that provides the comparison value. Leave the field empty if you do not want to compare against a channel.
Comparison operator
Here you select how the comparison is performed.
Triggering channels
Here you select the channels whose values this trigger should respond to.
Remarks
This trigger can perform one or more comparisons. If you specify both a direct value and a limit channel, both comparisons are performed, and a single matching comparison is sufficient to fire the trigger.
