Applications
E-mobility
X2B connects charge points with energy management and building automation. As a multi-protocol solution it integrates KNX, Modbus and OCPP.
Charge points are not stand-alone devices: they depend on the grid connection, the PV system and billing. X2B therefore treats them as part of the building, not as a separate system.
Smart charging
You manage charging profiles, remote start and stop and RFID badges centrally. Charge points can be grouped.
- Remote start and stop
- Access by RFID badge
- Group charge points
- Charging profiles
Surplus charging
Surplus PV power is detected and used for charging. The charging power follows the power available. Goal: maximize self-consumption.
- Inverter and meter values as the basis
- Charging power follows the surplus
- Works together with other loads in the building
Mixed charging park
Charge points from different manufacturers can be controlled together as long as they support OCPP 1.6 or 2.0.1. Reports are available as CSV and PDF, plus a DATEV export per cost center.
- OCPP 1.6 and 2.0.1
- Combine manufacturers freely
- Reports as CSV and PDF
- DATEV export per cost center
Part of building automation
Because X2B also knows lighting, heating and meters, charging fits into routines: for example, a charging release by time of day or a notification on events.
- Triggers and actions across all systems
- Timers for charging windows
- Notifications on events
Evaluation and billing
Reports and exports provide the basis for allocating charging power internally or passing it on.
- Reports as CSV and PDF
- Allocation to cost centers
- DATEV export
How it fits together
- Charge points via OCPP
- PV inverter
- Electricity meters
- RFID badges
X2B box
connects, controls, records
- Controlled charging
- Use of surplus power
- Reports as CSV and PDF
- DATEV export
